I’m Britt, the creator behind PickPads by Britt. I started making picky pads after being inspired to help my child and my sister, both of whom have ADHD and benefit from having something calming for busy hands. What began as a small creative outlet turned into a passion for supporting others through handmade sensory tools designed to promote comfort, focus, and gentle relief. I love creating unique and custom designs, especially themed picky pads, and I’m excited to share them with you.
My Story
This business began with a very personal purpose. I was inspired to start making picky pads while looking for ways to help my child and my sister, both of whom experience ADHD and struggle with picking behaviors, restlessness, and sensory needs. What started as a small creative project quickly became something meaningful when I saw how calming, grounding, and helpful picky pads could be for busy hands.
PickPads by Britt was created from a desire to support others who experience ADHD, anxiety, stress, boredom, and body-focused repetitive behaviors such as skin, nail, or hair picking. I wanted to create something that felt gentle, comforting, and judgment-free—something that could offer sensory relief while still being fun, creative, and visually pleasing.
Each picky pad is handmade with care, intention, and creativity. I especially love making custom picky pads, because they allow me to explore new themes, textures, colors, and designs. No two pads are ever the same, and each one is made to feel unique—just like the person using it.
My goal is simple: to help others feel supported, calm, and understood through thoughtfully designed sensory tools. Whether you’re purchasing for yourself, your child, or someone you love, I hope each picky pad brings a small moment of relief and comfort to your day.
