Deafinitely Fun exists to connect the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community—and allies—to accessible, inclusive, and Deaf-friendly events, resources, and opportunities across North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, and Tennessee.

Project Manager Volunteers help keep Deafinitely Fun organized, forward-moving, and aligned with our growth goals by managing projects, timelines, and team accountability across events, content, and collaborations. This role helps Deafinitely Fun grow sustainably. With a dedicated Project Manager Volunteer, we can move ideas forward faster, strengthen collaborations, and better serve the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

What You’ll Help With:

Overseeing key initiatives and ensuring projects move from idea to completion

Creating timelines and tracking deadlines for events, newsletters, and social media

Coordinating with volunteers to ensure tasks are assigned and completed

Following up on outstanding tasks and maintaining accountability

Organizing collaboration efforts with libraries, businesses, and community partners
-
Supporting event logistics for Deafinitely Fun–hosted events
-
Helping prioritize what needs attention each month
-
Identifying workflow improvements to help the organization grow efficiently
