Deaf Counseling Center

Deaf Counseling Center is a Deaf-owned and Deaf-run therapy practice offering culturally affirming mental health care in American Sign Language. Their team of licensed Deaf therapists, fluent in ASL, provides confidential and accessible counseling nationwide—whether in-person, via videophone, secure video, or text-based formats. The center serves individuals, couples, and families across all 50 states, accepting many insurance plans and offering sliding scale options to ensure access.

Tennessee RID – Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf

Tennessee RID is the state chapter of the national Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), dedicated to promoting excellence in American Sign Language interpreting. They offer professional development, networking, certification support, and workshops tailored to interpreters and ASL students. Tennessee RID also hosts online events and districts meetings, fostering a strong community and continuing education throughout the state.

Bridges for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Bridges for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing provides professional ASL interpreting, CART, VRI, and tactile interpreting services across Tennessee and nearby areas. Their interpreters are nationally certified and work in a variety of settings, including medical, educational, legal, and corporate. They also offer 24/7 emergency interpreting. Proceeds from services support free programs for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.
