At Deafinitely Fun, our mission is to connect the Deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing communities through accessible, inclusive, and Deaf-friendly events across North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and beyond. We are deeply committed to making our website as accessible and usable as possible for everyone, regardless of technology or ability.

Our Commitment

We strive to ensure our website meets or exceeds best practices and standards as defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

We aim to:

  • Make content clear and easy to navigate.

  • Provide alternative text for images.

  • Ensure strong color contrast and readable fonts.

  • Use consistent headings and structure for screen readers.

  • Design forms that are accessible on all devices.

  • Share clear event details, including accessibility information whenever possible.

Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We are continuously working to identify areas for improvement, update our content, and enhance the user experience for all visitors. We are also mindful of the diverse needs of the Deaf and hard of hearing community and strive to provide event listings and resources in clear, written English while exploring opportunities to include ASL video content and captions in the future.
