The South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind (SCSDB) invites students to an exciting weeklong Space Camp from June 8–13, 2026, hosted on the SCSDB campus in Spartanburg, SC. This interactive summer program is designed to help Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Blind/Low Vision students build confidence through hands-on learning and engaging team activities.
Campers will participate in a wide range of educational and recreational experiences, including team-building exercises, creative arts and crafts, technology workshops focused on accessibility tools, and outdoor adventures. The program blends fun with skill development, offering students a chance to explore new interests while growing in independence.
Space Camp also provides an opportunity for students to meet peers from across the state, form new friendships, and get a preview of campus life at SCSDB. Families can learn more and apply through the SCSDB website.
