Deaf Day at Chesterfrost is a family-friendly community event designed to bring together Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals, ASL users, families, and allies for a day of connection, accessibility, and outdoor fun. The event takes place at Chesterfrost Park and encourages inclusive participation in a welcoming, accessible environment that supports communication in American Sign Language (ASL) and promotes Deaf community engagement in the Chattanooga area.
Attendees can enjoy a relaxed outdoor gathering with opportunities to socialize, network, and participate in community activities while celebrating Deaf culture and accessibility. Participants are also encouraged to register in advance and sign up to bring an item to share, helping foster a collaborative and community-centered experience.
