Accessibility Morning is a sensory-friendly and disability-adapted museum experience taking place on Saturday, July 12, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Columbia, South Carolina. This inclusive community event is designed for individuals, families, and groups who would benefit from a calmer museum environment with accessibility resources and supportive programming.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore museum exhibits at their own pace while enjoying sensory-friendly activities, a quiet sensory room, community resource partners, and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation provided by certified interpreters through the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind. Special activities include a sensory-friendly show and a character meet-and-greet with The Very Hungry Caterpillar featuring ASL interpretation.

This accessibility-focused event in South Carolina welcomes neurodiverse individuals, Deaf and Hard of Hearing guests, families, and community members looking for an inclusive and supportive museum experience. General admission is free for participants.
