Deaf Night Out | Central BBQ

Deaf Night Out at Central BBQ is a community social event designed to bring together Deaf, hard of hearing, and signing community members for an evening of fellowship, networking, and conversation in a welcoming and accessible environment. Hosted by Bridges West, this gathering provides an opportunity for attendees to connect with friends, meet new people, and strengthen relationships within the Deaf community while enjoying local dining and social interaction.

This casual community event encourages participants to engage in American Sign Language (ASL), build connections with members of the Deaf and hard of hearing community, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere centered on communication, inclusion, and fellowship. Attendees are responsible for purchasing their own food and beverages, with average meal costs ranging from approximately $10–$20.

As a Deaf community social event, Deaf Night Out promotes community engagement, ASL communication, Deaf culture awareness, and opportunities for social networking in an accessible public setting.
