Sip & Sign at Cheesecakes by Alex is a welcoming community social event designed to bring together individuals who know American Sign Language (ASL), are currently learning ASL, or are interested in learning more about Deaf culture and sign language. Hosted at Cheesecakes by Alex in downtown Greensboro, this gathering provides a relaxed and inclusive environment where participants can practice ASL, build friendships, and connect with members of the Deaf and hard of hearing community.

Attendees are encouraged to engage in conversation, strengthen their signing skills, and enjoy meaningful social interaction while supporting a local business. Whether participants are fluent signers, ASL students, interpreters, family members, or beginners exploring sign language for the first time, Sip & Sign offers an opportunity to learn, communicate, and connect in a supportive setting.

This community event promotes Deaf awareness, ASL learning, accessibility, and social engagement while creating opportunities for networking and friendship within the Deaf and signing community.
