Second Saturday Silent Social at Larema Coffee House

The NCRID Eastern Region, in partnership with Larema Coffee House, invites the community to the Second Saturday Silent Social in Wilson, North Carolina. This casual ASL social event offers an afternoon of coffee, conversation, and community connection in a welcoming environment for signers of all experience levels.
Attendees can catch up with old friends, meet new people, enjoy coffee and treats, and practice their American Sign Language (ASL) skills with other members of the signing community. Whether participants are fluent signers or still developing their ASL skills, all signers are welcome to join. A table will be reserved in the back of Larema Coffee House for the gathering.
Taking place during Deaf Awareness Month, the Second Saturday Silent Social is a great opportunity to connect with the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and ASL community in Eastern North Carolina while supporting an inclusive local gathering.
