MUTE BUTTON ON is a community social event bringing together Deaf, Hard of Hearing, ASL users, sign language interpreters, interpreting students, and others interested in connecting with the local Deaf and ASL community.
The evening offers a relaxed environment with no formal agenda or structured networking. Attendees are invited to put their phones down, turn the “mute button” on, use ASL, socialize, laugh, grab a drink, and make new connections. Whether attendees are longtime members of the Deaf community, ASL students, interpreters, or simply interested in meeting new people, all are welcome to come as they are.
