First, third, and fifth Thursdays: Karns Community Park, 6618 Beaver Ridge Road, Knoxville, TN 37931. Second and fourth Thursdays: Lenoir City Park/Central Park Splash Pad, 313 East Broadway Street, Lenoir City, TN 37771
The community-led ASL Play Group gives Deaf, hard of hearing, and signing children a welcoming place to play and connect through American Sign Language. Families can enjoy this weekly Deaf family activity in Knoxville and Lenoir City while children build friendships in a signing environment. Locations alternate by week. Families are encouraged to bring chairs, water, snacks, and park toys; swimsuits, towels, and water toys are suggested for splash-pad weeks.
