Knoxville Black Community & Power (KBCP) – Spring Gathering
The Knoxville Black Community & Power (KBCP) Spring Gathering invites members of the Black Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and signing community to come together for an afternoon of connection, collaboration, and empowerment. This event provides a welcoming space for individuals of African-American descent to build community, share ideas, strengthen cultural identity, and support one another. Attendees will also participate in early planning discussions for upcoming Juneteenth celebrations.
Guests are encouraged to bring an appetizer to share as part of this community-centered gathering. The event is open to Black Deaf individuals, Black Hard of Hearing individuals, ASL users, interpreters, and allies who support the mission of fostering unity and growth within Knoxville’s Black Deaf community.
