Deaf Day Out at the Nashville Zoo invites the Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, and ASL community to enjoy an accessible day of wildlife, learning, and community connection at the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. Presented with support from Bridges for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (BridgesTN), the event will feature interpreted shows and animal chats, helping make the zoo experience more accessible for ASL users.
BridgesTN will also be onsite during this Deaf community event in Nashville, giving attendees an opportunity to connect with the organization while enjoying the zoo's animals, exhibits, and activities. Deaf Day Out offers families, friends, and community members a fun way to experience an ASL-accessible event in Nashville, Tennessee while spending time together at one of the city's popular attractions.
