Deaf Culture Awareness Day at the Zoo

Seneca Park Zoo will host Deaf Culture Awareness Day, an inclusive celebration created with Rochester School for the Deaf and the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing families can explore Deaf culture through accessible programming, ASL story times, interpreted animal talks, and demonstrations. ASL interpreters will be available throughout the day. This Rochester Deaf community event offers family-friendly activities and accessible zoo experiences.
