Deaf Coffee and ASL Chat is a welcoming community gathering designed to bring together Deaf, hard of hearing, hearing, and American Sign Language (ASL) users for conversation, connection, and language practice in an inclusive environment. Hosted by Ali Zahid Malik and Deaf Chat Coffee Raleigh NC, this social event provides a space for individuals of all signing abilities to meet new people, strengthen communication skills, and learn more about Deaf culture and the beauty of American Sign Language.

Attendees are invited to participate in casual conversations, practice ASL in a supportive setting, and build meaningful connections with members of the Deaf and hard of hearing community. Whether participants are fluent signers, ASL students, interpreters, family members, or simply interested in learning ASL, this event offers an opportunity to engage with others through language, community, and shared experiences.

Host Ali Zahid Malik is passionate about supporting people with disabilities and fostering inclusive spaces where Deaf and hard of hearing individuals can connect with others. Through Deaf Coffee and American Sign Language Chat events, he helps create opportunities for community engagement, accessibility, and social interaction across diverse backgrounds.
