Event Description
BridgesTN invites community members to a free, ASL-accessible Cooking Demonstration Workshop, designed to promote healthy eating and hands-on learning for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing participants. This month’s session features Charslyn Guilyot from the Extension Davidson County Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program, who will guide attendees through the preparation of a flavorful, nutritious entrée.

Participants will learn practical cooking skills, discover tips for preparing affordable and healthy meals at home, and enjoy tasting the finished dish at the end of the session. This educational experience supports Deaf-friendly nutrition programming, inclusive community events, and accessible health education in the Nashville area.
