Construction Trades Program

The Construction Trades Program offers Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals an opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on training for careers in the skilled trades. This 18-week evening program features American Sign Language (ASL) instruction, making construction education accessible while teaching practical skills in blueprint reading, tool mastery, framing, insulation, basic electrical work, and plumbing. Participants will also earn an OSHA 10 Certification, receive a certificate of completion, and gain employment support by connecting with local employers.
This program is ideal for individuals interested in building, construction, and hands-on careers who have strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a desire to work in the skilled trades.
Date: Starts Tuesday, September 3, 2026 (18-week program)
Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
