Community Conversation – North Carolina School for the Deaf (Morganton, NC)
The DSDHH Morganton Regional Center invites Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind community members to participate in an important Community Conversation at the North Carolina School for the Deaf. This discussion-based event provides a safe and supportive space for individuals to share the communication barriers they’ve experienced in everyday situations, including medical appointments, workplaces, schools, the DMV, the courtroom, and other public services.
Participants will have the opportunity to speak directly with Division Director Tony Davis and his team, offering valuable insight that helps improve accessibility and services across North Carolina. ASL interpretation and CART captioning will be provided to ensure full access for all attendees.
