The Knoxville Center of the Deaf (KCD) invites the community to attend Breast Cancer Awareness Day, a special event focused on education, early detection, and supporting those affected by breast cancer. Open to everyone, this family-friendly event will bring the community together to raise awareness that breast cancer affects both women and men while encouraging regular screenings and access to lifesaving resources.
Attendees will have the opportunity to visit a mobile mammogram van, hear inspiring stories from a panel of breast cancer survivors, connect with local organizations and community resources, and purchase delicious baked goods and treats. Guests are encouraged to wear pink to show their support, honor survivors, remember loved ones, and help spread the message of hope, treatment, and early detection.
