Sign and Stride – ASL Walk/Run Club

Sign and Stride is an American Sign Language (ASL) walk and run club that brings together members of the Deaf community, ASL users, and supporters for an active and social outdoor experience. Meeting every other Thursday, this inclusive event welcomes participants of all fitness levels, whether they prefer walking or running, and encourages connection through the shared use of ASL.

The club provides a unique opportunity to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and build friendships within the Deaf community while promoting health, wellness, and social engagement. Participants are invited to walk or run at their own pace and choose a distance that works best for them. Sign and Stride is designed to create a welcoming environment where communication, community, and physical activity come together.

Participants will meet on the backside of the Revolution Mill campus off Textile Drive. Follow Textile Drive down the hill, turn left, and look for the group in the far back right corner of the campus.
