DEAFinitely Today, Tomorrow, Always – NCAD Conference 2026

The North Carolina Association of the Deaf (NCAD) presents DEAFinitely Today, Tomorrow, Always, a two-day statewide conference designed to educate, empower, and connect the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and signing communities. This annual event brings together respected presenters to share expertise on interpreting, Deaf culture, linguistics, advocacy, and emerging issues impacting the Deaf community.

Conference sessions include topics such as Shaping AI Through a Deaf Lens, Must-Have Tools for Interpreters, Sign Language Courses, Deafinitely Politics, Critical Features in ASL, and The Impact of Communication Needs on Life & Work. Attendees will enjoy workshops led by industry leaders such as Frank Griffin, Tiia Hanaford, Dr. Keith Cagle, Dr. Jordan Wigfall, and keynote speaker Sherry Hicks.

This conference is ideal for professionals and community members seeking ASL professional development, interpreter workshops, Deaf community education, ASL CEUs, and Deaf conferences in North Carolina.
