The community is invited to attend Deaf Culture Awareness Day at the Zoo, a Deaf-friendly event designed to celebrate Deaf culture while promoting accessibility and inclusion. Hosted at the North Carolina Zoo, this event offers an engaging and educational experience for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals, families, and allies. Attendees will have access to American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters at select programs, interpreted keeper talks, and visual program guides to ensure an inclusive experience for all.
