Spartanburg County Public Libraries invites the community to attend a special series of ASL-interpreted historical performances at the Headquarters Library in Spartanburg, South Carolina. These engaging educational presentations bring history to life through live portrayals of influential historical figures, providing an accessible and enriching experience for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, ASL users, interpreters, students, educators, families, and history enthusiasts.
Each performance features a historical character presentation that allows attendees to learn about significant individuals who shaped American history. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided for designated performances, ensuring accessibility and inclusion for Deaf and Hard of Hearing community members.
