Second Saturday Silent Social is a monthly Deaf-friendly coffee social hosted by NCRID Eastern Region in partnership with Larema Coffee House. This welcoming community gathering invites Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind individuals, interpreters, ASL students, and anyone interested in the Deaf community to enjoy an afternoon of conversation, coffee, and connection in an inclusive environment.
This Deaf social event in Wilson, North Carolina provides an opportunity to build friendships, practice American Sign Language (ASL), network with members of the Deaf community, and meet new people in a relaxed coffee shop setting. Whether attendees are fluent in ASL or just beginning to learn, everyone is welcome to participate and enjoy meaningful conversations.
